PLEASE NOTE THAT TELLTRAIL HAS NOW BEEN DISCONTINUED

Q: I get the following error message when trying to run TellTrail: "either EOF or BOF is true".

A: You probably have version 2.6 of Microsoft's Data Access Components (MDAC) installed on your machine.  TellTrail version 1.0 was written to use MDAC 2.5 and version 2.6 is not backwardly compatible.  

The latest version of TellTrail available from our download page fixes this problem.  Or you can download from this link tellt.zip.

Q: I have MDAC 2.6 installed on my computer. Can I use TellTrail with it?

A: Yes providing you have version 1.0.1 of TellTrail or above.  You also need the Microsoft Jet Database Engine Version 4.0 which was included in MDAC 2.5 but is not included in 2.6.  You can download this from Microsoft's site at:  http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_Jet4SP3.htm.
